We’ve gathered the most common questions so you can focus on the experience, not the logistics. If you don’t find the answer you need, our team is always here to help -just reach out and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.

Event Basics

What do I bring?

Sheets, pillow, and sleeping bag (unless you are staying in an upgraded cabin)

✅ Something that sparks childhood joy (a favorite snack, trinket, or stuffed animal)

If you would like to eat outside of the provided meals (Friday dinner, Saturday lunch & dinner, and Sunday breakfast), please bring your own food, including what is needed for storing and cooking. Only the upgraded cabins have kitchenettes and fridges.

Tip: Pack what makes you feel at home, playful, and ready to fully enjoy the camp vibes!

We recommend not overpacking as there are no lockers for your belongings in the cabin.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely. Many participants come solo, and the structure of the event makes it easy to connect, meet new people, and feel a sense of community right away.

Are dogs or children allowed?

To maintain a focused, safe, and immersive experience for all participants, we’re unable to accommodate dogs or children at this event. Feel Day is designed as an adults-only, distraction-free space for play, connection, and restoration.

Where do I park my car?

You may park in any of the designated parking areas shown on the venue map. Please refrain from driving your vehicle around the venue unless you have a disability. You may walk or ride a bike around the property.

Tickets & Registration

What is included in my ticket?

Your Feel Day ticket gives you full access to all activities for the entire weekend, including workshops, games, healing experiences, and community gatherings. Your ticket also covers accommodations in one of the group cabins, meals (including Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday breakfast), water, and parking.

Swimming activities are not included, but you can upgrade your ticket for $20 to have access to swimming in the river at the designated swim time.

Can I buy just a day pass?

Yes! We are offering Saturday only day passes for those who are wanting to experience this transformational and fun retreat but are not able to commit to the whole weekend. Day passes include all activities (except swimming - that is a $20 upcharge), lunch, and dinner. Please read your ticket information for check- in time. All day pass holder are expected to leave after the last activity.

Do I have to stay the whole weekend?

You’re welcome to join us for the full experience from Friday to Sunday, or you can purchase a Saturday-only day pass. You may leave early if needed, though we recommend staying for the full weekend to receive the complete experience. If you plan to leave early, please let the hosts know in advance so we can best accommodate your needs.

Unless otherwise discussed with the hosts, no one will be permitted to join outside of designated time frames (Friday afternoon check-in, Saturday morning check-in)

Are meals included in my ticket?

Yes, most meals are included with your ticket. You will have access to the following meals through the on-site dining hall: Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday breakfast. You’re also welcome to bring your own food; however, please note that refrigeration and kitchen facilities are only available in upgraded cabins.

What time is arrival and departure?

Guests with a Full Weekend Pass may arrive and check in between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on Friday. Departure is at 12:00 PM on Sunday.

Guests with a Saturday-Only Pass may check in between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM on Saturday. Departure is after the final event, at approximately 11:00 PM.

Please note: The gate and check-in will only be open during the designated times. Feel Day is not a come-and-go event, and entry outside these windows is not permitted to hold the intention of the space.

What is your refund policy?

All ticket sales for Feel Day are final and non-refundable. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to changes in personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, weather conditions, travel delays, or dissatisfaction with the event.

Accommodations & Logistics

What are the sleeping options? Do I have to stay in the bunk house?

Participants stay in shared, camp-style cabins in a simple, comfortable setup that brings back those classic summer-camp vibes.

Participants may choose to upgrade to a private cabin for an additional $300-$400 (depending on the type). There are limited upgrades available.

Are the sleeping arrangements in the cabins co-ed?

Cabins are grouped by gender identity, and all guests are welcome to choose the housing option that feels safest and most affirming for them, including those who are nonbinary, gender-fluid, or gender-expansive.

Upgraded cabins can be co-ed if you choose.

Do I bring my own linens?

Yes. Unless you upgrade to a private cabin, you must bring your own sheets, pillows, and blankets, as the shared cabins do not provide linens.

Will there be lockers for me to put my stuff?

No, there are no lockers. We recommend keeping your valuables and additional unneeded items in your car. We don't forsee you needing too much for this experiential weekend!

Are there ADA accessible accommodation options?

Yes, the event and most of the accommodations are ADA accessible, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive experience for all participants. Please let us know if you require ADA accommodations when you purchase your ticket so we can place you in the correct cabin.

Given that many of the activities are spread out across the property, if you have a wheelchair or have trouble walking longer distances, you will have the ability to drive or ride in a car to travel to the different areas on site. Please let us know if you require this accommodation at the time of your ticket purchase. You can email us as [email protected].

Are there camping options available?

Yes, on site camping is available for those who choose to bring their own tent. There are designated areas for this.

Cabins are first come first serve, so if cabin spots are unavailable at the time of your purchase, you will be required to camp and bring your own equipment.

Is there a curfew?

Yes. All participants must be in their assigned bunkhouse or private room by 11:00 PM each night, unless prior approval has been granted by the Feel Day staff.

Activities & Participation

What if I am new to the activities and modalities? Do I need to have experience?

No! Our facilitators will guide you every step of the way, offering clear instructions and approachable modifications. If something doesn’t feel right for you, there will be alternative activities to choose from—or you’re welcome to take a break whenever you need.

Are all activities mandatory?

While we strongly encourage and invite participants to fully immerse themselves in the weekend and engage with the programming as they would at a retreat, we respect individual needs and personal boundaries. If you need a break outside of break times to integrate, please let us know. Support staff will be available throughout the weekend to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported in choosing how they participate.

Will there be breaks and down time?

Yes! There will be a few short breaks throughout the day. However, the programming is thoughtfully designed to flow seamlessly, creating a fully immersive and engaging experience.

What kinds of activities are you offering?

Feel Day offers a diverse blend of experiences designed to spark joy, connection, and genuine transformation. You’ll enjoy everything from classic field games—ranging from lighthearted, silly childhood favorites to team-building and sports-style activities—to evidence-based therapeutic practices, wellness sessions, and healing modalities.

All activities are intentionally crafted around play, community, connection, and nervous system regulation to help you reconnect with your inner joy and feel fully alive.

How will I know what activities are best for me?

Before the event, we provide detailed descriptions of each activity so you can get a clear sense of what to expect. This helps you identify which experiences resonate most with you and plan your day accordingly. Our goal is to give you the information you need to make choices that feel right for you, so you can fully enjoy your time.

Parking & Transportation

Is Parking available on site? Is it included in my ticket?

Yes! On-site parking is available for all attendees and is included with your ticket at no extra cost.

What is the nearest airport?

The nearest major airport is the San Antonio International Airport (SAT), which is approximately 43 miles (~50 minutes) south of Fischer, TX. Another option is the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), which is about 60 miles (~1.3 hours) northeast of Fischer, TX.

Safety & Policies

Is this a sober event? How about tobacco products?

Yes, this event is 100% sober and substance-free. Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the premises. Anyone found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave without a refund, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

There is also no use of E-Cigs, Vapes, or Tobacco products allowed on the premises.

Will there be first aid services available?

Yes. First aid supplies will be on site, and trained medical professionals will be available throughout the event to ensure your safety and well-being.

Will the event be cancelled if there are weather issues? What safety precautions are there if there is inclement weather?

We will not cancel the event due to weather. Many of our workshops, activities, and experiences can easily be moved indoors, and the venue is fully equipped with multiple indoor spaces to keep the weekend running smoothly.

In the case of inclement weather, we have safety protocols in place and will guide all attendees to designated indoor areas to ensure everyone remains comfortable and protected. Your experience and safety are our top priority.

Personal Safety & Responsibility

Participants are fully responsible for their own safety, well-being, and personal property. Feel Day and its affiliates are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or health issues that may occur on site.

Who do I contact if I have a safety concern?

If you notice any safety concern or incident during the event, please notify a facilitator or staff member immediately. Our team is trained to respond and work to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.

Will there be photography / videography?

Yes, photographers and videographers will be mindfully and respectfully capturing moments throughout Feel Day for social media, marketing, and future event promotions. This helps us share our mission and reach more people.

Many workshops and activities ask that phones be put away so you can be fully present and connected. While we encourage unplugging, we cannot enforce phone usage rules or be liable for phone use—participation and personal responsibility remain in your hands.
