More people than ever feel disconnected—from themselves, from each other, and from the simple joy of being alive. As play fades from our lives, so does our sense of wonder, creativity, and belonging.
Mental health challenges continue to rise, and traditional solutions aren’t enough on their own. Without new ways to reconnect, we risk becoming even more isolated, overwhelmed, and out of touch with what makes life meaningful.
1 in 5 individuals in the U.S reported experiencing a Mental Illness (NIMH)
Someone dies by suicide every 11 minutes (NIMH)
66% of American employees are experiencing burnt out (Forbes)

I chose to help create Feel Day because I know firsthand the impact of losing someone to suicide and the challenges that follow when mental health support is out of reach. After the loss of an ex-boyfriend to suicide, I spent years navigating depression, self-harm, disordered eating, and anxiety so severe I could barely leave my house, until I found myself held by the community and rediscovered healing through meditation, yoga, ecstatic dance, and the simple joy of play and connection. Since then, I have completely transformed my life and am now devoted to helping others do the same.

I spent more than a decade in Social Work supporting people through crisis, trauma, and mental health struggles. I saw the same pattern again and again: loneliness, isolation, and a lack of spaces where people could simply be held. I’ve faced my own mental health challenges, and in 2025, I lost my brother Christopher to suicide. His passing shattered the world I knew, but his spirit is what fuels this mission.
Through my work (professionally and as a community leader) and my own mental health challenges, I have witnessed how connection, community, therapeutic practices, and even simple moments of play can become lifelines. They remind us that we’re not alone, that healing is possible, and that life can still hold color. Feel Day was born from that truth. It exists to build community, expand access to healing experiences, and create spaces that become pathways back to hope, belonging, and remembering why life is worth living and we deserve to be a part of it.

Feel Day is where ziplines meet breathwork, where classic field day games blend with sound healing, and where Austin’s top wellness facilitators deliver evidence-based practices that feel less clinical and more natural. This is a transformational wellness event designed for real people navigating real stress — a space where mental health and play coexist.
In a world overwhelmed by burnout, loneliness, and rising mental health challenges, people are craving experiences that help them reconnect with themselves in ways that feel joyful, natural, and deeply human. Feel Day was created as a response to that need — a community-driven wellness initiative designed to support emotional wellbeing through play, movement, creativity, and community connection.
Every element of Feel Day is intentionally curated to reduce stress, increase presence, and cultivate connection. From somatic practices that support nervous system healing to playful challenges that spark joy, each moment is rooted in proven methods that enhance emotional and mental well-being.
When people have spaces that support emotional regulation, embodied healing, and genuine human connection, their mental well-being improves in profound ways

FEEL DAY is dedicated to emotional well-being and community impact. This experience isn’t just about play, connection, and transformation—it’s also about making a real impact in mental health.
